Welcome to ExpireMe™, a mobile application developed by Poker Games Interactive LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our ExpireMe™ mobile application (the "App"). Please read this privacy policy carefully.

By using ExpireMe™, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the App.

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use ExpireMe™, you may provide us with the following information:

• Expiration Items: Information about items you track, including names, expiration dates, categories, notes, and photos
• Document Images: Photos you capture of items, documents, credit cards, licenses, and other items with expiration dates
• Sensitive Information: Credit card information (last 4 digits), insurance details, driver's license information, passport data, vehicle registration details, and prescription information
• Location Data: Location information for grocery stores you pin for location-based reminders, including coordinates, addresses, and store names
• Map Data: Store locations and addresses obtained through MapKit search services when you search for nearby stores
• App Settings: Your preferences for notifications, authentication requirements, and other app settings

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

The App may automatically collect certain information:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and device identifiers
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, features used, and app performance
• Camera Data: Images processed through the camera for expiration date recognition (processed locally on your device)
• Map Search Data: When you search for nearby stores, your current location is used to query MapKit services for nearby grocery stores. This location data is used only for the search query and is not stored by us

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Core Functionality: To provide expiration tracking, reminders, and notifications
• Image Recognition: To process and analyze images you capture to identify expiration dates (processing occurs locally on your device)
• Location Services: To send you location-based reminders when you arrive at pinned grocery stores, and to search for nearby stores using MapKit
• Map Services: To display maps with your pinned store locations and to search for nearby grocery stores using Apple's MapKit service
• Notifications: To send you timely reminders about expiring items, including critical alerts for prescriptions and parking
• Security: To authenticate your identity using Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode
• App Improvement: To understand how the App is used and improve its functionality

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using Core Data. We do not transmit your expiration items, photos, or sensitive information to our servers or third parties. Your data remains on your device and is protected by your device's security features.

3.2 Biometric Authentication

When you enable Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode authentication, biometric data is processed by your device's secure enclave and is never shared with us or stored by the App. Authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system.

3.3 Image Processing

Image recognition and expiration date detection are performed locally on your device. Images are not sent to external servers for processing. Photos you capture are stored locally in the App's data storage.

4. Permissions We Request

ExpireMe™ requests the following permissions to provide its functionality:

• Camera: To scan and capture images of items with expiration dates
• Photo Library: To allow you to select existing photos of items
• Location (When In Use): To provide location-based reminders when you arrive at pinned stores, and to search for nearby stores on the map
• Location (Always): To send background location reminders when you arrive at stores, even when the App is not in use
• MapKit Services: To search for nearby grocery stores and display maps with your pinned store locations
• Notifications: To send you reminders about expiring items
• Face ID/Touch ID: To secure access to sensitive expiration data

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. Note that revoking certain permissions may limit the App's functionality.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government regulation
• Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our users
• Service Providers: We may use third-party service providers to help us operate the App, but these providers do not have access to your expiration data, photos, or sensitive information stored locally on your device
• MapKit Services: When you search for nearby stores, your location is sent to Apple's MapKit service to perform the search. This is subject to Apple's privacy policy. Store search results and map data are provided by Apple and stored locally on your device when you pin a store

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your information:

• Access: You can view all your expiration items and data within the App
• Deletion: You can delete individual items or all data through the App's settings
• Correction: You can edit or update any expiration item at any time
• Permission Control: You can manage App permissions through your device settings
• Authentication: You can enable or disable Face ID/Touch ID authentication in App settings

7. Children's Privacy

ExpireMe™ is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.

8. Data Retention

Your data is stored locally on your device until you choose to delete it. You can delete individual items or all data at any time through the App's settings. When you delete the App, all associated data stored locally on your device will be removed, subject to your device's data retention policies.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

10. International Users

If you are using ExpireMe™ from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States.
